Pizza Restaurant - Students, K-1, start and run a pizza restaurant in the above video (right). This could be developed at any grade level, K-16! Entrepreneurship at its best for kids.
Deconstruct a Pizza? Use the same methodology as this university class did when they Deconstructed a Taco - a high level project involving geography, economics and globalization!
Pizza Bakeoff Challenge - this could be among teams in a single class, or a campus-wide or even district-wide event. Criteria could include taste, but also creativity, presentation and passion!
Multi-course meal in which every course is pizza! Have student plan, then cook and serve pizzas, from appetizers to salads, soups and desserts! Here are some recipes for pizza lollipops or mini deep-dish pizzas. For your appetizer: pizza soup or a white pizza with an arugula salad on top. For your main course: whatever kind of pizza you desire. We recommend one classic, like pepperoni, and one fancy one, like this pear, prosciutto and gorgonzola pie. For dessert: Nutella pizza.
