A word of caution: be careful about turning your students loose on an Internet search for "chocolate". The first time I searched I found many inappropriate sites - pornography, etc. Your district probably has a filter, but just a word of caution here. It may be better for you and some of your colleagues to provide students with a list of plenty of sites that are appropriate.

Each section ends with a special section devoted to a traditional flavor favorite, such as Marshmallows, Marzipan, Licorice, Turkish delight, Baklava, and Chewing Gum. An excellent resource, full of details about the science, history, etc., of candy. A must-have resource for a unit of study on candy.
